Our on-site mineralogy tool, HSMQ, has now become common on oil and gas exploration rigs, in geothermal projects, and in siting jobs related to radioactive waste storage. The next industry that could benefit from this on-site mineralogical quantification tool would be the geotechnical and tunneling world. Excavated resources could be directly characterized and subject to quality control on-site, allowing for real-time decisions on reuse and recycling without wasting money, time, or incurring unnecessary transport or post-job analytical costs.
